This is first-rate BBC nature filmmaking that legitimately stirs wonder at the design and order of creation, following great seasonal events like the salmon run and the great migration. Be aware it does not sanitize the food chain: there are moderately graphic predation scenes with visible flesh, blood, and organs, and honest footage of animal birth including the placenta. Younger or tender viewers may be genuinely upset when young animals fall to their deaths or are caught and eaten. For an adult or older child, that unflinching honesty is part of what makes it edifying — creation is beautiful and it is also a place groaning under the effects of the Fall, and this series shows both without narrating either.
