There is essentially nothing to guard against here beyond a couple of mild words; the family is Muslim, and prayer and the mosque appear as ordinary background that a discerning viewer will simply note as the film's cultural setting. What it models — sibling devotion, honesty when lying would be easier, contentment in poverty, and honoring one's parents by sparing them worry — is genuinely edifying.
