The Muppets' warmth keeps it accessible to young children while the story itself carries genuine weight about greed, wasted years, and second chances. The only cautions are gentle: the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come is deliberately silent and hooded and can frighten small kids, the score is genuinely eerie in stretches, and it is heavily implied that Tiny Tim dies in the unaltered future. A lone throwaway pun ('freezing our assets') is the sole verbal wink. This is a rare family title that is both truly enjoyable and quietly formative toward generosity and repentance.
